The Purpose & Goals of RADIO-TZER & TEAZERS TUNAGE

Our staff is committed to the main objective: "Have Fun!" We make sure to stream the best music we can while keeping a fun, mature atmosphere. All of our DJ's volunteer their time to share the music they know and love, and together with listener participation, we have worked to become rated as one of the best internet radio stations on the net. Our goal is simple; "Provide an exciting fun and entertaining environment to our staff and listeners, and above all else, have Fun!"
(The word: Fun was used 5x in this paragraph.)

Educate yourselves, Meet the DJ's and other staff members, by viewing their profiles, interacting with them by their email, or other messenger services they use. The Forums we provide here, each DJ has their own section so that you can interact in this manner.

1. The Call Letters.
T.Z.E.R.
Are the Call Letters for TEAZERS TUNAGE. It is also an abbreviation for TEAZER.
TEAZERS TUNAGE, the name was created back in 1995 as a place for listeners of music to come, hang out, chat about music and the industry, make friends, and enjoy an escape of reality and it's crap.

2. Why "TEAZERS" TUNAGE and not just TUNAGE? well, it's my music, played the way I like it and I allow you all to come listen to it if you want. I never force anything on anyone.

Why "TUNAGE?" well it's the cool way of saying TUNES, music, songs, tracks, plays, whatever you want to call it, it's all about the music or the TUNAGE.

3. Who and what is a DJTEAZER?
I'm DJ TEAZER, I'm Rick Weiner, I created the name TEAZER back in 1995, it's my "Gaming" name, it's the name I use in my gaming team www.teammft.com
TEAM MISFIT TOYS.
And the DJ? well, for the past 15+ years, I've been an off line/online broadcaster, manager, programmer, producer. The name DJTEAZER is universal in all realms of the music Disk Jokey Realm. The Origins of "TEAZER" stems from a Chimp I met as a child and the name stuck.

4. The Motto's Origins
"Escape Reality Thru Music."
That's the motto I chose back in 1995 and earlier to reflect, leaving your cares behind to just enjoy all styles of music.

"Tune out of your world and Tune into TEAZERS TUNAGE."
This is another motto I created back in 1995 and earlier, as to my DJ'ing motto, I'd say that as an intro to going on the air.

"Music for your Inner Monkey."
Coined in 1998, while at Yoga, our mantra was to "relax & Calm our monkey brains." The Logo Was born, an Ape wearing a Headset and Grooving to Tunage(slang for Tunes).

In Conclusion, the station is my hobby and it's here for you to enjoy whether you are escaping reality thru music, or just need a place to hang out and make friends with the same interests as each other. ENJOY RADIO-TZER.

Back in 1995, when I first got linked up to the internet I thought, what would be cool other then to have "Internet" Radio... So the plan was set in motion, I created: TeazersTunage.net
Teazer is me, aka "DJTEAZER" a local spin DJ and broadcaster at some California terrestrial stations. I figured, I'm currently reaching my area and around my area, but I WANT to touch the STARS! Why not REACH the world? So... I needed a name... I shortened my name to TZER figured listeners could relate to that, call letters if you will, and the word "Tunage" was something we said when we we're being cool, "I'm listening to some cool tunage!" I found a register on the net, started my site and began to figure out how to get music over the internet... 15 years later and we are still here today... TeazersTunage.net
created 2 other streams:
1. Rock/Metal/Alt. - Radio-TZER.net
2. Techno/Trance/Ambient - Electro-TZER.net
We're working on a 3rd. We're still tiny in a world of HUGE market radio, but we've got our niche and we're sticking to it!
