Meanwhile, <b>George Harrison</b>'s widow, <b>Olivia</b>, <a href="http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/sftw/2477500/He-would-have-considered-a-Beatles-reunion-he-had-great-love-for-them.html">says</a> she believes that her late husband would have considered signing on for a Beatles reunion had surviving members <b>Paul McCartney</b> and <b>Ringo Starr</b> wanted to do one, "because he had great love for [them]."</div>

<div class="newsBody"><b>Eddie Van Halen</b> says having his 18-year-old son, <b>Wolfgang</b>, in <b>Van Halen</b> may steer the group in a new musical direction. "He brings a whole new aspect to [the band] because he's into a whole different trip," the guitarist explains. "He listens to all kinds of the current stuff, [about] which I'm really not that up to date." Of Wolfgang's musical ability, Eddie declares, "I named him after the right guy [<b>Mozart</b>], that's for damn sure."</div>

<div class="newsHed">Perry: Whitford's Recovering From a Head Injury</div>
<div class="newsBody"><img src="http://www.rockdaily.com/media/art/ah_news_aerosmith_5.gif" class="mjiArtwork" alt="Aerosmith" width="150" align="right" border="0" height="150"><b>Joe Perry</b> says the injury that's sidelined fellow <b>Aerosmith</b> guitarist <b>Brad Whitford</b> from the band's <a href="http://www.aeroforceone.com/index.cfm?pk=viewall&amp;cd=MAE&amp;pid=10784">current tour</a> occurred when he banged his head while exiting his car. "It built up pressure and gave him this whoopin' headache," explains Perry. Whitford is recovering from surgery, and is expected to join the trek around July 7. Perry also reports that in about two weeks Aerosmith plan to start playing their entire <i>Rocks</i> album during their concerts.</div>

<div class="newsBody"><b>Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band</b> played a marathon set Saturday at the <a href="http://www.bonnaroo.com/default.aspx">Bonnaroo Music &amp; Arts Festival</a> in Manchester, Tenn., rocking the stage for nearly three hours. Among the performance's highlights were an <a href="http://www.usatoday.com/life/music/news/2009-06-14-bonnaroo_N.htm">off-season rendition</a> of "Santa Clause Is Coming to Town," which an audience member had requested, and duets with <a href="http://www.triumphtheinsultcomicdog.com/"><b>Triumph the Insult Comic Dog</b></a>. Springsteen also <a href="http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/phish-jams-with-springsteen-on-bonnaroo-1003984291.story">joined</a> <b>Phish</b> for a few tunes during the jam band's headlining set Sunday.</div>

<div class="newsHed">Jett Contributes Cover Tune to <i>Bummer</i> Soundtrack</div>
<div class="newsBody"><b>Joan Jett and the Blackhearts</b> contribute a rendition of <b>Missing Persons</b>' "Destination Unknown" to the soundtrack of the new comedy flick <a href="http://www.endlessbummerthemovie.com/"><i>Endless Bummer</i></a>. The album, which includes cover versions of various 1980s tunes, will be released June 23. Jett appears in the movie, which will get a premiere screening June 28 in Ventura, Calif., as part of an after-party event for the Vans Warped Tour. A DVD of the film is due this fall.</div>
