<div class="newsHed">Skynyrd Confirm Plans for 2010 Simple Man Cruise</div>

The excursion's fourth installment will be held on the Carnival Inspiration ocean liner, which will travel round-trip from Tampa, Fla., to Cozumel, Mexico. Skynynd and more than a dozen other acts, including fellow Southern rock icons <b>38 Special</b>, <b>Molly Hatchet</b> and the <b>Outlaws</b>, will be performing during the outing.</div>

<div class="newsBody"><b>Ringo Starr</b> is one of 28 celebrities who will be recognized next year with stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In response to receiving the honor, the ex-<b>Beatles</b> drummer <a href="http://www.ringostarr.com/newspage.php?id=66">said</a>, "A star for a Starr -- what an honor and a privilege it is to be walked on." Among the other musicians who will join Starr on the Walk in 2010 are <b>ZZ Top</b>, <b>Van Morrison</b>, <b>Bryan Adams</b> and the late <b>Roy Orbison</b>.</div>

<div class="newsHed">Metal Madman's Memoirs Receive U.K. Release Date</div>
<div class="newsBody"><img src="http://www.rockdaily.com/media/art/rd_news_oosbourne_1.gif" class="mjiArtwork" alt="" width="150" align="right" border="0" height="140"><b>Ozzy Osbourne</b>'s long-in-the-works memoir, <i>I Am Ozzy</i>, will finally see the light of day in the United Kingdom on Oct. 1, about two years after its original publication date. The Metal Madman, who participated in a cover shoot for the book this past Wednesday, will embark on a weeklong promotional tour across the pond this fall that will include two in-store signing sessions. Publishers currently are in talks regarding the autobiography's U.S. release.</div>

<div class="newsBody">A limited-edition, pre-release version of a DVD documentary focusing on <b>Kinks</b> guitarist <b>Dave Davies</b>' life, music and quest for spiritual enlightenment is now available for purchase <a href="http://www.davedavies.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=49">here</a>. The disc, titled <i>Dave Davies Kronikles: Mystical Journey</i>, will officially be issued in the United States in September or October. <i>Mystical Journey</i> features a soundtrack composed by Davies, and will include a bonus video for a new song by the rocker called "New Dawn, New Day."</div>

<div class="newsBody"><b>Eric Clapton</b> and <b>Elton John</b> both appear in three star-studded performance videos filmed at <a href="http://www.princes-trust.org.uk/">Prince's Trust</a> benefit concerts in London during the 1980s that are now available for purchase via iTunes. Also featured in one or more of the clips are <b>Paul McCartney</b>, <b>George Harrison</b>, <b>Ringo Starr</b>, <b>Mark Knopfler</b>, <b>Phil Collins</b> and <b>Jeff Lynne</b>. Downloads of those videos and four others from various Prince's Trust events are being sold outside of the United States.</div>
