Radio-TZER
The Internet's 24/7 Rock Alternative - Best of Yesterday & Today.*
We are world wide and co-ed and seeking interested "Hobby" DJ's who will volunteer and commit to a 2 hour a week work schedule. All shows are 2 hours long, probation is 90 days, after this, you may choose more time. This station is Volunteer, however we will exchange banners and allow the DJ to hype up their personal or business website, donation boxes, etc (As long as it's not another radio station, porn or SPAM related!)
You must be over 18 to apply, as we are a mature station.
The Station is legal, paying royalties to BMI, ASCAP, SECAP and Sound Exchange thru a blanket license corporation called SWCAST.

Requirements:
1. Working mic/headset/speakers.
2. Must have DSL or Cable connection and can upload at least 200-512k for 2 hours.
3. Must have at least 15-30 (15 songs per hour at 3-5minutes) MP3's of varying artists in the Rock/Alternative format.**
4. Must have a working email/s address.
5. Must commit to a 2 hour work week (You choose open time from schedule.)***
6. Must be willing to promote your show to your peers to bring in more listeners for you and the other DJ's.****
*The overall format for the station is Rock/Alternative or Alternative Rock, however, this is mainly for the AUTODJ aka "Code Monkey." Now, This was created because before I hired DJ's, Code Monkey ran the station and we needed a general format to make an imprint in the internet community. As we fill up Code Monkey's spaces with Live DJ's doing their Shows, Specific or various. You should be prepared to conform to a Rock Alternative Format {genres include: Rock, Metal, Alternative, Punk, Industrial. [Please No Rap or Country. Stipulations to this, Rapcore is excepted as it's rap/hip-hop mixed with metal or Rock, Southern Rock: e.g. Eagles, Molly Hatchet, Kidd Rock, and Alternative Country (With a more Rock Edge)etc.]} (Only Weekends are allowed to divert from the standard format. If your show is "RAP/HIP-HOP" or "Country Specific" Please choose an open slot on the weekends.)
**As far as music goes, I do not condone the Stealing of music from the internet. We prefer that you purchase your own music via CD's or whatever, rip them to your HD with appropriate Services. There are download sites that offer a fee for downloading music, and there are Torrent sites. WE ask for you to have at least 30 songs of different artists per 2 hour shift, 1 artist that has 30 songs will not work, UNLESS you are doing a specialty show, about that Artist (i.e. "Elvis Show" "The Beatles" etc... If you are doing a Specialty Show, please don't take random requests for other bands, stick to your show subject matter.)
***The Job is Volunteer, but we allow you to promote your website, clan site, gaming servers, myspace, etc. Plus, we don't care if you work for other stations, just don't promote them here. If you wish to sell advertisement time on air or with banner exchange, you may KEEP the $$. WE except donations that cover the Shoutcast Stream and royalties.
****Go out and advertise yourself working on this station. Drum up listeners on our IRC chat or on xfire or wherever you would like. (Just don't spam to get in trouble.) All we ask is that you say the station's call letters 2x an hour at the bottom and top of each hour: "Radio-T.Z.E.R." And where it's located: "Radio-TZER.org / TeazersTunage.net".

The DJ's music is totally uncensored, modern day popular music does contain some foul language, so some shows may not be suitable for people under 18.
Even though Radio-TZER DJ's music is totally uncensored, Radio-TZER has placed limited censorship on the DJ's on-air language since most of our listeners do not like foul mouths.
Each DJ has their own taste, opinions and beliefs along with their style of music (AS Long as they follow Station Format). Their views and opinions are not necessarily that of Radio-TZER. Also Radio-TZER or its owners are not responsible for the actions of the DJs while on or off the air.
