Fab Four Fans Celebrate Abbey Road Photo's 40th Beatles, Abbey Road.
Beatles fans converged in North London on Saturday to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the iconic mid-stride photograph that appears on the cover of the group's 1969 album Abbey Road. Attendees, who stopped traffic and sang songs during the festivities, were able to cross the actual Abbey Road at the exact moment the Fab Four did 40 years ago. Meanwhile, a new Beatles-inspired clothing line from apparel company Ben Sherman will hit stores in February 2010.

Aerosmith Officially Postpone Five Shows
Aerosmith have now officially postponed a total of five Canadian concerts because of frontman Steven Tyler's stage-fall injuries. The rocker's daughter Mia reports that the singer is recovering at home from a broken shoulder and other wounds. There is no official word on the remainder of Aerosmith's North American tour yet.

Def Leppard have postponed two concerts -- Monday in Nashville and Tuesday in Birmingham, Ala. -- because of an unspecified bandmember's bereavement. No further details were released, and the rescheduled dates have not yet been announced. "We're going to do all that we can to get back there soon," the rockers said in a statement. Def Lep's outing, which also features Cheap Trick and Poison, is expected to resume Thursday in West Palm Beach, Fla.

Sabbath, Ozzy, Priest Highlight Brütal Legend Soundtrack
The soundtrack for the upcoming video game Brütal Legend will feature tunes by artists such as Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne and Judas Priest. The game's song list -- which includes more than 100 rock tracks -- also contains contributions from Kiss, Def Leppard, Scorpions, Mötley Crüe, Whitesnake and others. Brütal Legend, which also stars characters voiced by Osbourne and Priest's Rob Halford, will be released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on Oct. 13.

Them Crooked Vultures Rock First Show
Them Crooked Vultures, featuring Queens of the Stone Age's Josh Homme on lead vocals and guitar, Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl on drums and Led Zeppelin's John Paul Jones on bass, played their first show ever at the Metro in Chicago on Sunday. The super group performed a 12-song, 80-minute set that one reviewer described as a "full-body hard-rock experience." The band's stage lineup was rounded out by guitarist-keyboardist Alain Johannes.
